Mephisto no longer seems like a horror figure, while the specter of the Arab gangster increasingly influences society and politics. Using Goethe, Milton and the actors' experiences in portraying these two figures, a story is composed in which the demonized characters move out of their assigned roles. Through linguistic and physical reflection, a binary understanding of the world with classifications of good and evil, top and bottom, male and female is to be questioned.
